This project is located in Alphabet City in Manhattan’s East Village and was constructed as condominiums. The six-story building has no cellar due to the design restrictions of being located in a flood zone.

The building has a unique façade of roman-size bricks with industrial-style windows and a stone veneer on the first floor. The large corner windows fronting the street serve a dual purpose: First, they give the building’s traditional elevation a modern edge. Second, they provide natural light to the interior space, creating an unparalleled ambiance. This unique project was designed to match the scale of the surrounding buildings.

The first floor includes utilities, a residential entrance, and one dwelling unit facing the rear portion of the building. The unit has a lower-level duplex as well as an upper-level duplex on the second floor. The first-floor unit features a greenhouse extension and garden at the rear. The rest of the dwelling units are located on floors 2 to 6.  The building has an approximate area of 10,500 square feet.
