Ramy Issac is a prominent New York-based architect who has made an immense contribution to modern New York architecture. Ramy Issac was born in Israel in a small town called Tzfat. While living in the artists’ colonies, his love for art and painting inspired him to pursue a career in architecture. He studied art and architecture in Haifa at Technion and completed his master’s degree in the United States. He was soon hired by the New York architectural firm in NY at “Emory Roth & Sons,” who recognized his talents. He designed numerous prominent and attractive buildings in New York, including 375 Hudson Street and the famous new G7 Headquarters. His diverse portfolio and extensive experience in creating functional building design with outstanding aesthetics are one of the reasons why he is among the most famous architects in New York.

In 1988, he started his architecture firm in NYC named Issac & Stern Architect. He is the founding principle behind establishing his New York-based architectural practice’s prominent reputation with an extensive and diverse portfolio of the most successful mixed-use projects in Manhattan and other locations. He and his architects at Issac & Stern approach every project with a unique imaginative lens to ensure each project outshines their clients’ vision.

Construction Tops Out At 249 East 50th Street In Turtle Bay, Manhattan, NY.

This 15-story residential building in Turtle Bay, Manhattan, has been designed by Issac & Stern Architects and developed by Tun Kyaw. The 190-foot-tall, 15-floor condo hosts 29 large apartments that include full-floors homes and a duplex penthouse. The architect firm of NY, Issac & Stern, designed its safe exterior composed of limestone and glass, gray masonry façade supported by concrete forms, floor-to-ceiling windows, residential terraces and large balconies

for select residences. It is one of the latest projects of Issac & stern. The final completion date is yet to be revealed


Excavation Underway At 359 Second Avenue In Gramercy, Manhattan

This 359 Second Avenue project located in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan and fronts 2nd Avenue and 21st Street is among Issac & Stern Architect’s latest projects. This new condo development project by Silverback Development is presently undergoing construction. The building’s unique elevation design, consisting of a limestone façade, French windows, and doors, is inspired by neoclassical Parisian architecture. The building features 53 units with large glass windows surrounded by limestone trim, and a peppering of small Juliet balconies, adding a European architecture finish. The project is expected to be completed by 2022.


Permits Filed For 61 Rivington Street In Chinatown, Manhattan

Issac & Stern Architect and Picksell Studio are working with developer Horizon Group to build a 13,952 square foot building at 61 Rivington Street in the Lower East Side neighborhood of Manhattan. The project involves transforming a three-story Classical Revival style building in Chinatown, Manhattan. Issac & Stern Architects outlined a modern design with stepped setbacks, a façade of white masonry surrounding an abundance of large windows, and glass barriers enclosing an outdoor terrace for this project.


Permits Filed for 1009 Second Avenue in Manhattan, NY

1009 Second Avenue is a new condo development designed by Issac & Stern Architect Firm in NY, currently in preconstruction. The 19-story residential building will have 29-units. This modern residential complex is located in one of the most promising areas of 1009 2nd Avenue, New York, NY.
